We’re pleased to share that Happy Energy Solutions Ltd, in partnership with the Gas Safe Charity and their delivery partner Foundations, has secured funding to offer free gas boiler servicing to eligible homeowners across Essex.
This opportunity forms part of our ongoing HEAT Essex programme, which aims to support residents in living safely and comfortably in energy-efficient homes.
Who is eligible?
To access a free gas boiler service, residents must:
- Be a homeowner
- Have a gas boiler that has not been serviced in the last 12 months
And meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Living in a low-income household (under £31,000 per year or in receipt of a means-tested benefit)
- Have a disability / long term health problem
If a boiler is found to be unsafe, we will work with the resident to explore options for repair/ replacement support, helping them remain safe, warm, and well at home.
Priority will be given to applications from residents over the age of 65 years.
Funding is limited and applications must be made before 19th September 2025.
